Jo Mango is a Glasgow based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed all over the world – including the Carnegie Hall in New York, South By South West festival in Texas, numerous tours in Japan as well as Canada, Europe and Australia.

Jo has collaborated on performances with David Byrne, Eddi Reader, Devendra Banhart, Roddy Woomble, Midge Ure and many others. Her co-writing includes notable collaborations with Scottish bands such as Teenage Fanclub (Baby Lee) and Admiral Fallow (The Beetle in the Box). Her second album Murmuration was released in 2012 to great acclaim. It featured unique selections from Jo’s eclectic musical instrument collection (kalimbas, harmoniums, omnichords and musical saws) and combined inspiration from her adventures travelling the world as a member of Vashti Bunyan’s band with her experiences in becoming a Doctor of Musicology.
